    Terms of Service

    The terms and conditions for ArrowSite's done-for-you website service and Website Hosting.

    1. Overview

    These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ArrowSite's done-for-you website service and Website Hosting ("Service"). By requesting a free website preview, commissioning a New Website, or subscribing to Website Hosting, you agree to these Terms. ArrowSite is operated from 110B Mount Eden Road, Mount Eden, Auckland, New Zealand.

    ArrowSite is a New Zealand done-for-you website service for small businesses. It specialises in straightforward professional brochure websites and handles the website build and technical environment for the customer rather than providing DIY website-building software.

    2. The ArrowSite Service

    ArrowSite provides professionally designed, fully hosted brochure websites for New Zealand small businesses. The Service includes the website design and build, hosting, SSL, platform maintenance, technical management and technical-fault support. Customer-requested content changes are not included in Website Hosting and are charged separately as Basic Website Updates.

    There are two website pathways. Which pathway applies depends on how much usable existing source material ArrowSite has to work from — not simply on whether a website already exists.

    3. Eligible Free Website

    Eligible Free Website: Where ArrowSite determines that there is sufficient usable existing business information and imagery available through an existing website, Facebook, Instagram or another approved online source, ArrowSite may offer the website design and build for $0.

    • Eligibility is determined by ArrowSite. Having a website, Facebook or Instagram does not automatically entitle a customer to a Free Website — there must be enough usable information and imagery.
    • A brand-new business may still qualify for the Free Website pathway where enough suitable usable online source material exists.
    • If the customer chooses to activate and publish the website, the required ArrowSite Website Hosting service applies ($40/month with a 12-month minimum).

    4. New Website (Starting From Scratch)

    New Website: Where there is not enough suitable existing content for the Free Website pathway, or ArrowSite needs to establish the website substantially from scratch, the website build starts From $995.

    • The New Website build price is a starting price (From $995), not a fixed price for every project. A straightforward project within the standard scope will normally start at that price.
    • New Websites also require the $40/month ArrowSite Website Hosting service with a 12-month minimum once the website is activated.
    • The New Website pathway applies where ArrowSite needs to establish the website substantially from scratch — not merely where the customer has no website at all.

    5. Website Hosting

    Website Hosting is the ongoing ArrowSite service that keeps the website live and includes hosting, SSL, technical infrastructure, platform maintenance, technical management and technical-fault support.

    • Price: $40/month (NZD).
    • Minimum term: 12-month minimum. After the initial 12-month minimum term, Website Hosting may be cancelled in accordance with these Terms.
    • Starts: Your $40/month subscription begins when your website goes live on your domain.
    • What it does not include: Website Hosting does not include unlimited content changes. Customer-requested content changes are charged separately as Basic Website Updates (see section 8).

    6. Standard Website Scope & Additional Pages

    • Standard scope: Up to 5 primary brochure pages, a basic contact/enquiry form, and one initial revision round before launch.
    • Pages 6–10: Normally $125 per additional page.
    • Promotional offers: Promotional offers may temporarily alter additional-page pricing and will be governed by the offer terms displayed at the time. Promotional terms are not a permanent part of the standard pricing.
    • More than 10 pages: ArrowSite is designed for straightforward small-business brochure websites. Projects requiring significantly more than 10 primary pages or more complex content architecture may be better suited to a custom website solution.

    7. Revisions

    • One revision round: Your build includes one initial revision round before launch. You may request a consolidated set of reasonable changes to the initial design, which ArrowSite will implement before the site goes live.
    • Additional or repeated revision rounds, if required, may be quoted separately.

    8. Basic Website Updates ($20)

    Basic Website Update: A straightforward customer-requested content change that generally involves one logical change to existing website content.

    • Price: $20 per logical change (NZD).
    • Examples: Changing contact details, replacing an image, updating short text, or updating an existing link.
    • Larger or more complex changes may be quoted separately.
    • Basic Website Updates are separate from Website Hosting and are not included in the $40/month fee.

    9. Technical Faults

    Technical faults relating to the ArrowSite website, hosting environment or functionality provided by ArrowSite are addressed without an additional Basic Website Update charge.

    • Examples: A page failing to load, a contact form not operating, an SSL issue, broken site functionality, or a responsive/layout fault caused by the website implementation.
    • Customer-requested content changes are not technical faults and are charged as Basic Website Updates (see section 8).
    • ArrowSite's responsibility for technical faults does not extend to unrelated third-party systems (see section 10).

    10. Third-Party Support Exclusions

    ArrowSite provides the ArrowSite website and its technical environment only. Unless separately agreed, ArrowSite does not provide or manage technical support for:

    • Email accounts
    • Microsoft 365
    • Google Workspace
    • Domain registrar accounts
    • Facebook, Instagram or other social media accounts
    • Third-party IT systems, software or services

    Domain connection guidance for the ArrowSite website is distinct from general registrar or IT support. ArrowSite may provide the technical information required to connect the customer's domain to the website.

    11. Domain Responsibility

    • You own your domain and are responsible for registering, renewing and maintaining it.
    • ArrowSite does not take ownership of the domain and does not manage domain registration or renewal.
    • Domain registration is not included in the New Website build price, the $0 Free Website build, or Website Hosting.
    • ArrowSite provides the connection information needed to point your domain to the completed website. Hands-on Domain Connection Assistance is available as an optional add-on (see section 14).
    • If your domain expires, your ArrowSite website will become inaccessible until the domain is renewed.

    12. Website Ownership & Portability

    • Your assets: Your domain, business name, logo, branding, original copy, images you own or have permission to use, and other supplied business IP remain yours at all times.
    • ArrowSite implementation: The ArrowSite website implementation, platform and infrastructure are built and hosted on the ArrowSite platform and remain available while your Website Hosting subscription is active.
    • No export: ArrowSite websites cannot be exported or transferred to another hosting provider. Continued operation of the ArrowSite implementation depends on an active applicable service.
    • Cancellation: Your ArrowSite website will cease to operate after subscription cancellation.
    • Domain retention: Your domain remains yours and can be pointed to a new website at any time.

    13. Restricted & Illegal Content

    You may not use your ArrowSite website to host:

    • Illegal content under New Zealand law
    • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
    • Malware, phishing pages, or malicious code
    • Content that promotes hate speech, violence, or harassment
    • Adult content or content unsuitable for a general audience

    ArrowSite reserves the right to remove any content that violates these restrictions and to terminate subscriptions for serious or repeated violations.

    14. Customer Warranties

    You warrant that:

    • All content you provide to ArrowSite is yours or you have the rights to use it
    • Your use of the Service does not violate any law or third-party rights
    • You will not use the Service for any illegal or fraudulent purpose

    15. ArrowSite's Right to Reject

    ArrowSite reserves the right to reject any project that we determine is unsuitable, including projects that involve restricted content, require functionality beyond our platform's capabilities (such as ecommerce, membership systems, customer portals or complex custom applications), or for any other reasonable business reason. In such cases, any payments made will be refunded.

    16. Optional Add-on Services

    The following optional add-on services are available at the prices listed on our Pricing page:

    • Basic Website Update — $20 per logical change
    • Domain Connection Assistance — ~$75
    • GA4 / GTM Installation — ~$75
    • Search Visibility Setup — ~$250
    • AI & Search Enhancement — ~$300
    • Meta/Facebook Tracking Setup — TBD
    • ArrowFlow Integration — Variable

    Add-on prices are optional and may change. Add-on prices are confirmed at the time of purchase.

    17. Three-Year Refresh

    Customers who remain continuously with ArrowSite for 3 years may become eligible for a website refresh at no additional website build cost, subject to the standard ArrowSite scope and applicable service terms. The refresh covers a design update to keep the website current and does not include new functionality or significant structural changes.

    18. Payment & Failed Payments

    • Website Hosting payments are charged monthly. Any agreed New Website build fee is charged as agreed.
    • If a payment fails, we will notify you by email and attempt to re-charge.
    • A grace period of 7 days is provided for failed payments.
    • If payment is not received within the grace period, your website may be paused until payment is received.
    • Subscriptions more than 30 days in arrears may be cancelled, and the website removed.

    19. Limitation of Liability

    ArrowSite's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.

    20. Termination

    You may cancel your Website Hosting subscription after the 12-month minimum commitment period. ArrowSite may terminate your subscription for breach of these Terms, including non-payment or violation of content restrictions. Upon termination, your ArrowSite website will cease to operate.

    21. Changes to Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

    22. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with New Zealand law.
